Is it easy to inspire yourself? And to inspire others?

Personally, I work on this constantly. Ever since childhood I have noticed how easily a person can give up and simply stop doing something. Then the reasons appear: it’s too hard, nothing works out, the universe is to blame, the people around you keep putting spokes in your wheels – and that’s why you fail.🤷‍♂️

I have always seen it differently – after all, you can put in the effort yourself and change the situation. You can try once more. Maybe it just didn’t work out this one time, and next time it definitely will. And that often pays off – in sport and in many other things. If something didn’t work out once, it doesn’t mean it won’t work out next time. You simply shouldn’t think of yourself as some exceptional person who keeps running out of strength and therefore has to give everything up.

It’s the same at work. If something didn’t go the way you planned, it doesn’t mean it will be the same next time. That’s why employees need to be reminded of this all the time.

Another danger at work is resting on your laurels. When people around you start praising you, it’s easy to believe that you already know everything and can do everything, and that there’s nothing more to learn.😌

But the world moves on. If you don’t motivate yourself to learn something new, you can very quickly find yourself on the sidelines.

I keep reminding my team of this too. After all, it’s very easy to keep the same clients and not learn new software, because it’s comfortable to stay in your comfort zone.

But what will happen in a year?

And in fifteen?🚀
