What is the minimum authorised capital for setting up a limited liability company?
From 2024, the authorised capital for setting up a limited liability company will be at least €1000. The contribution must be paid into a savings account and can be used for the company's activities after registration.
How long does it take to set up a UAB?
The company is usually registered within 1-3 working days if all the documents are prepared correctly.
When is a limited liability company considered to be established?
When the Centre of Registers registers a legal entity, a legal entity code is obtained, the company is entered in the JAR, and only then can it start operating.
Do you help me prepare all the documents for setting up a limited liability company?
Yes, we prepare the statutes, the memorandum and articles of association, the minutes, the address consents and all the necessary documents. We can also file them on behalf of the RC if we have power of attorney.
When can I start business after setting up a limited liability company?
Once the Centre of Registers registers the company and gives it a legal personality number, you can start operating. However, if you need a VAT number, it is worth waiting for approval.
