Tax value of property

New property tax values and new tax arrangements will apply from 1 January 2026

From 2026, new property tax values will come into force, affecting both individuals and businesses.

This means that next year you will have to pay according to the updated property values.

If your home is your main dwelling (declared residence), it will not be taxed up to a value of €450,000.

For undeclared or rented accommodation, a progressive rate of between 0.2% and 1% will apply.

Business properties (offices, warehouses, etc.) will be taxed at a flat rate of 0.5-1%, to be set by the municipality.
